The task involves the overall construction of Worldport Fuel Farm's facility modifications and extensions, including mechanical and electrical work. The project encompasses a variety of activities such as the removal of earthen berm containment, demolition and reconstruction of PCC pavement, excavation and backfill, relocation of utilities, and concrete construction. Additionally, the project involves the construction of two API 500 tanks, each with a two-million-gallon capacity, as well as the installation of a secondary containment liner, impressed cathodic protection, lightning protection, Jet A fuel piping, and connections to active Jet-A fuel pipes. Two truck offload stations and three refueler loading stations will also be constructed. Upgrades will be made to the standby generator, lighting, controls and instrumentation, and existing tank gauging. The project will conclude with painting, testing, and commissioning.
